Information LIteracy for the Sciences

In this session, we will learn about the types of sources you might need for your science course assignments, where to find appropriate sources, and how to access them, if they are not free online. Not all studies are created equal – we’ll take a look at some quick ways to tell if the source/study may be unreliable. We’ll finish with some tips and tricks for reading scientific papers so that you don’t spend precious time struggling through a paper only to realize it doesn’t provide you with information you can use!
