1:00 p.m. - Drop-In Support Group for Students of Color - Counseling Services - Virtual
Dr. Cesar Leon, Psychological Counselor and Multicultural Specialist for Counseling Services, will facilitate a virtual weekly drop-in support group for students of color who have been impacted by national social justice issues this year. The group will provide a safe space for students to openly explore their reactions to recent events, discuss their own experiences with racism and discrimination, and learn ways to effectively cope with these difficult issues. Meetings are open to all students of color who would like a safe space to discuss and receive support around these culturally-relevant concerns. The virtual meetings will be held every week on Tuesdays at 1pm. To allow for more interactive discussion, registration for each session is limited to 12 students. Ramapo College Food Pantry Campus Food Drive: November 2020
The Ramapo College Food Pantry is hosting a campus food drive taking place from November 2nd-November 30th. Members of the college can donate food items to the RCNJ Food Pantry located in ASB 130. For anyone interested in donating items, please see the following information.
Appointments should be made to make donations. Please email We Care at wecare@ramapo.edu to make an appointment and wait for a confirmation for your delivery date and hours. The Food Pantry hours are Mondays and Wednesdays (10am-12:30pm) and Fridays (12pm-2pm), please note that the Food Pantry will be open on Monday 11/23 (10am-12:30pm) and Saturday 11/28 (12pm-2pm) during Thanksgiving Week.
Items that need to be refrigerated and frozen cannot be accepted. Below is a list of items that we are always looking for:

Counseling Services Offers Telehealth and Virtual Drop-Ins
This semester, Counseling Services is offering telehealth appointments for all current Ramapo College students. If you would like to schedule an intake appointment for counseling, please call the main office at 201-684-7522. Virtual Drop-Ins will also be available daily from 1pm-3pm. Virtual Drop-Ins are conducted via telehealth. They are brief consultations that are free, confidential and available to all current students. Virtual Drop-Ins are on a first-come, first-served basis and the last consultation begins at 2:40pm. Please note that Virtual Drop-Ins do not constitute formal mental health counseling. Shuttle Information for the Week of 11/23
Monday, 11/23: The shuttle will only stop at the train station for the 2:45 loop and the 3:25 loop will operate 20 minutes later for all stop. The schedule will resume normal operations with the 4:30 loop.
Tuesday, 11/24 & Wednesday, 11/25: Normal shuttle schedule/operations
Thursday, 11/26 - Sunday, 11/29: NO SHUTTLE SERVICE
Monday, 11/30: Regular operations resume
