Welcome to the homepage of the Ramapo First Responders Club (RFRC)! Our club is dedicated to firefighters, EMT's, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, OEM/CERT members, other first responders, and other students who are interested in community emergency services. Meetings days/times are every other Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m, usually in SC-217. Free lunch is often served at the meetings. RFRC hosts events on campus throughout the year, including CPR classes, lectures/discussions with local emergency service professionals, free EMT CEU classes, Stroke Awareness Month events, and many others! The club also provides a forum where First Responders can gather and share interest, knowledge, and passion in serving the community.

The Operations Section of the RFRC encompasses Ramapo College Emergency Medical Services and is often referred to as Ramapo EMS or REMS. REMS is student-run, first responder EMS organization. Active EMT student staff members are employed bye the College's Department of Environmental Health & Safety. Our primary service area consists of all Ramapo College owned and operated properties. REMS performs Basic Life Support (BLS) skills in accordance with the State of New Jersey Basic Life Support Protocols.
