Dr. Armin Langer, a DAAD Visiting Assistant Professor at the Center for European Studies at the University of Florida, will discuss the place of Jews and Muslims in contemporary Germany.

Tensions around this topic have swelled since 2015 and still seem to be intensifying. Armin Langer has played a significant role in fostering connections between Muslims and Jews in Germany. He is widely recognized as an expert in the fields of belonging in Europe, antisemitism, and Islamophobia.

This is part of our Open Classroom Series. We invite the public to join Ramapo students as they learn from guest speakers in courses related to Holocaust and genocide studies. We will prioritize student participation before allowing members of the public to ask questions or comment.
