Happy Friday and Finals week :) We had a meeting last week on the 27th to discuss our upcoming plans for next semester! 

Last week, we introduced our new eboard and chair members for this upcoming semester and I'm so thrilled to be your new Secretary! If you weren't able to make it to last week's meeting, here were some important information, events, and plans we covered:

LEAD Fall Festival: 
  • The date for the LEAD Fall Festival will happen in October 9th, 2023 in Bandshell Lawn and time TBD
  • We are planning to have an ice cream truck, music, wrist bands, and a photo booth station
  • Some activites we planned for this event are as follows:
    • Pumpkin picking 
    • face painting
    • cookie decorating
    • stamps
    • corn hole 
    • "I am thankful" tree craft
Spring 2023 Formal:
  • Location: Trustees Pavilion
  • Food:
    • Finger food
    • Italian Food 
  • Decorations:
    • Ballon arch
    • Theme: TBD, possibly a St. Patrick's Day idea
    • a photo wall 
    • Photobooht: disposables with a camera for many family and friends to have their own photos 
    • Ring lights to which everyone can take their own pictures 
  • Money suggestion:
    • About 10 and 20 bucks from raising funds 
Game Night:
  • Food:
    • Catered
    • Possibly finger food 
    • Pizza
    • Subs 
  • Location:
    • Bradley Lobby
  • Game Ideas as follows:
    • Bingo
    • Gaming system on a big screen
    • Ping pong 
    • Pool
  • We could have the Game Night event possibly in November 
  • More information will come out soon! Stay tuned :) 
Tabling Events: 
  • Events:
    • Involvement fair 
  • Color Therapy
    • Date: we might have Color Therapy Event in mid March
    • Prior to formal
We hope to see you at those events, and encourage your other friends who may not be in the club. We would want as many members there as much as possible!! If you have any questions or concerns, please let eboard or the officer chairs know. Thank you and good luck on your finals :)
