About Us
The Social Work Club is organized to bring together students interested in the social work profession in a social and academic atmosphere, and is designed to aid their personal and professional development. We welcome social work and non-social work majors to collaborate on social service projects, listen to guest speakers, share ideas, and work together with an emphasis on Community Involvement and the Social Welfare of all populations. Our goals are to develop and foster the interest of social work students and to serve as the representative voice of social work majors and those interested in the social work profession. We aim to create, develop and promote an interest in social work as a profession to other students and the public. We aim to promote community service and civic engagement among our club, students in our program and the campus community. Our goal is to provide the opportunity to affiliate with other professional organizations and enrich your educational experience.
Our mission is create a safe space for RCNJ students to share ideas about ways to help benefit the society around us and learn about social issues of special concern to our members and community. Join us if you feel inclined to help others!
