Students had the opportunity to partake in an on-campus session aimed at obtaining professional headshots, which they could utilize for the purpose of enhancing and refreshing their LinkedIn profiles.

LinkedIn Workshop

Conducted an informative session featuring both students and professionals, covering essential steps in creating a LinkedIn account, outlining core functionalities, and emphasizing the platform's pivotal role in future carrier. This initiative also preemptively advanced students in their coursework.

Becker Sessions

Becker Student Ambassador and Jackie Oblinger provided insights into the fundamental aspects of the CPA exam, including eligibility criteria, the exam's purpose, registration procedures, and the advantages of utilizing Becker for preparation.

Guest Speakers

Our club has an impressive lineup of guest speakers who will share their personal and professional journeys. Our roster includes accomplished individuals holding a diverse array of credentials, such as Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Accounting Managers, Chartered Financial Analysts (CFAs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and Staff Accountants, among others. During these sessions, these accomplished professionals expound upon their career inception, the determinants that led them to this, and provide insights into their present-day professional routines.

Networking Events

Organizations such as Withum, Marcum LLP, and Harris Biltzer Sports Entertainment, have  shared insights into their organizational offerings for current students and prospective job applicants. These engagements provide invaluable perspectives on the opportunities these companies present both presently and in the context of future careers.

Peter Parillo and Anthony Joseph have adeptly engaged with students, fostering meaningful connections that extend to the challenges and triumphs encountered.
