Lounge

The Women's Center is an inclusive and safer space where ALL are welcome to hang out, have some great discussion, or indulge in coffee and tea!

Programs & Events

Throughout the year, the Women's Center organizes events, workshops, and hosts speakers to enrich your college experience. We sponsor educational campaigns on a variety of issues such as body image, relationship violence, masculinity discussions, LGBTQIA+ resources, and more. We also offer assistance to RAs/CAs and all student clubs and organizations in designing programs. Let us know what programs you would like to see, or better yet, let us help you plan one!

Advocacy

The director, graduate assistant and student staff serve as advocates for all students, faculty and staff in regard to discrimination, harassment, assault, or violence prevention. Our professional staff and student staff provide private assistance and support all individuals in filing a complaint or utilizing the college judicial/grievance system.

Crisis Intervention & Peer Listening

The Women's Center provides peer listening for anyone in need of assistance with a crisis, problem, or issue. We are here to identify options and provide any information or referrals you may need.

Library

(located in the WC office, currently closed due to COVID)

The Women's Center offers a small collection of literature and DVDs on varying social justice issues that can be used inside the center during office hours or can be checked out to be used for class projects or assignments.

Safer Sex Supplies & Menstrual Products

(Located in the CSI Main Office weekdays 8-5)

The Women's Center promotes responsible intimacy and safer sex. You can get 5 FREE condoms each time you visit us. Additional condoms are 10¢ each and include extra strength, snugger fit, extra large, ribbed, glow-in-the-dark, assorted colors and assorted flavors for oral sex.

Please note: Glow-in-the-Dark condoms are full price at 25¢ each and cannot be a part of your 5 FREE condom assortment.

We also carry dental damns and personal lubricant packets. Your first dental dam is FREE and 25¢ each thereafter. They are available in a variety of flavors including strawberry, banana, mint and vanilla.

Your first personal lubricant packet is also FREE and each additional one is 10¢ each.

Additionally, condom wallets are sold for $1.

We also provide free emergency tampons and pads.

The Women's Center offers presentations on a variety of topics in conjunction with other campus organizations.

Some topics are, but not limited to: Healthy Love Party, Queer 101 Presentations, Women's Center 101, Defining Diversity, Redefining Masculinity, and Body Image
