About Us

The purpose of S.O.C.A is to promote a better understanding of Caribbean people, culture, history, and politics not only to its members, but to the entire student body via weekly meetings and programs. We seek to include ALL students of Caribbean ancestry but it is not limited to those students. We also hope to serve as a vehicle to erasing some of the myths that people have about us, and to promote the concept of a unified Caribbean, all sharing in and appreciating each other's unique culture.
