Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) is the youth and student wing of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the largest socialist organization in the country. We intend to educate students about labor rights, social justice, and economic inequality while organizing on and off campus. We are 1STEP (Students Together for Environmental Progress). We come from a diverse background and have a wide range of interests, but are all passionate about making the world we live in more sustainable.

1Step is a student organization and outreach arm for localized sustainability, environmental issues, and to help further the Ramapo Green initiative at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Ascertaining that Ramapo meets its commitment to increase recycling and waste awareness on campus, as does personal growth in all realms of sustainability. We also act as a bridge between local sustainable organizations and the general campus community.

The College Republicans seek to promote conservative political ideals on campus. Through the hosting of events and tablings, we seek to give fair representation to those who are on the right side of the political spectrum on campus. Bi-weekly meetings are held to give students a chance to have relaxed political discussion with other like-minded students. Students of all political persuasions are welcome—there is no requirement that members register with the Republican Party, and no student will take a political ideology test. As the officially recognized on-campus affiliate of the Republican Party, we also help Republicans get elected in federal, state, and local elections. Members can take part in canvassing and phone-banking for candidates, oftentimes for pay as generous as $15 per hour during campaign season. Members are invited to the NJ College Republicans Convention for little to no cost to the member, and they can also receive heavily discounted tickets to CPAC, the largest annual gathering of political conservatives in America.

The Ramapo College Dance Company is a self-taught, student run organization that seeks to promote the arts through dance.
